synopsis for the southern california coast and santa barbara channel including the channel islands national marine sanctuary and national park...at 21z, or 2 pm pdt, a 1029 mb high was centered 800 nm west of point conception. A 1005 mb low was centered in nw colorado. Strong nw winds and dangerous choppy seas will affect the waters much of the time through Mon.
